I was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India and moved to Baytown, Texas, USA at the age of 2. I chose to attend The University of Texas at Austin over Texas A&M over a coin flip, and in 2018 graduated with a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Astronomy. Then I ended up at Texas A&M anyway for graduate school, where I completed my my PhD in Astronomy, with a Certificate in Applied Statistics. Currently I work as the John N. Bahcall Public Policy Fellow for the American Astronomical Society. I am also the adopted father of a spoiled 7 year old terrier named Lulu.
In my free time, I enjoy learning as much as I can about the world through books, video essays, and podcasts. I also love to play video games and D&D. Most of my time, however, is spent ensuring my dog has the best life.
